High Achieving School
State Superintendent Tony Evers awarded Dunwiddie Elementary School as one of 21 High Achieving schools in the state of Wisconsin. This recognition is based on the state assesments in reading and in math.
Our Schools of Recognition are staffed by dedicated educators,” Evers said. “Their success is something to celebrate; it serves as an example of the importance of schools, families, and communities working together to ensure that every child graduates ready for college and careers.”
Message from the Principal
We Are READY!
Amazing Kids Grow Here
We have missed you all and cannot wait to begin the best school year yet! It is my hope that all Dunwiddie families had some time to relax, explore together, and make many happy memories this summer.
Over the summer, we work hard to make our learning spaces even better. You will notice a beautiful upgrade to the new courtyard near the front entrance. Students will enjoy this new, safe space to move and explore rhythm and patterns. Currently, teachers are busy organizing, decorating, and preparing our classrooms to maximize learning and success for every student.
We believe in continuous growth to ensure that students get our very best. Our team spent time reading, reflecting, attending conferences together, and meeting regularly to plan the upcoming school year. The energy, dedication, and talent that this staff brings to our school community is outstanding. I am honored to be surrounded by this group of educators, and oh so grateful for their commitment to our children.
With each new year comes new opportunities, friendships, challenges, and successes. Through a strong partnership between home and school, our kids will not only continue to surpass our academic expectations, they will build the foundation necessary to become compassionate, resilient, life-long learners and leaders.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly at any time with questions or to share ideas.
